Why Wallywich?
I’ve been churning ice cream since long before I became vegan. Over the years I’ve experimented with flavor, texture, and—mostly—the joy of ice cream. And here’s a joy I want to share: deliciousness has nothing to do with whether an animal was involved.
Wallywich is named for my beloved husky-mix, Walnut. She’s a reluctantly vegan dog who loves peanut butter and squirrels with equal abandon. Walnut is a daily reminder that animals are magical, weird, and worthy of all our love and care.
